About Teddy
Meet Teddy, your future best furever friend! This adorable Shih Tzu boasts a big personality and an even bigger heart, with one essential requirement: he needs a spot in your bed! Just under a year old and weighing over 15 pounds, Teddy is on the lookout for his loving furever family. Teddy's early life was less than ideal; he was forced to live outside, covered in ticks, his beautiful coat matted. Despite this, he still believes in love and companionship. Luckily, he was rescued by A Second DogGone Chance Rescue & Sanctuary. Now that he's in a safe, nurturing environment, Teddy has truly come into his own! This little gentleman is a social butterfly. He adores everyone he meets, gets along well with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly! Known for being a bit of a loud mouth, Teddy loves to voice his opinion, but it adds to his charm. This playful pup thrives in a home with other dogs and a secure yard where he can romp and explore. But don’t let his playful nature fool you! When day turns to night, Teddy is all about snuggling up in a big, comfy bed. Once he discovered the joy of sleeping beside his human, there was no going back! Teddy deserves a family that understands his needs for love and cuddles, making him feel cherished and part of the household. Teddy has experienced neglect, but we want his next family to see him as a treasured member. He deserves to be treated like a beloved part of the family, filled with joy and affection.
