About Tucker

Tucker is a sweet and affectionate young dog looking for a loving home. Rescued as a pup after being abandoned, he’s spent time with the Sheriff’s Department and has become friendly and lovable. Tucker enjoys being around people, often greeting them with hugs. While he has a playful energy, he's also gentle for his age, making him a great fit for an active family or individual. A characteristic of his hound background, he's always on the scent, exploring with his nose to the ground. Tucker is mostly house trained, though he's still learning to hold it overnight. Currently, he’s enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program, where he’ll undergo eight weeks of training, including obedience and crate training. He will be ready to graduate at the end of November. If you’re interested in meeting Tucker, contact the Stone County Humane Society to schedule a visit and start the adoption process. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
