About Laika
Meet Laika, a delightful puppy about 2-3 months old and weighing approximately 7 pounds—this little girl is still growing! After finding herself in need of a new home, Laika is now at Mostly Mutts and ready to find her forever family. Laika enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to meet a furry friend in her new home. While we haven't tested her with cats, she definitely liked playing with kids aged 6 and 8 in her previous foster home, so she could thrive in a home with kids around this age—just best to avoid toddlers who might accidentally fall on her. A calm and gentle pup, Laika can be a bit shy at first, but she truly shines with her loving personality. She was a star during bath time and showered everyone with kisses, showing her affectionate nature. While her energy level sits around a moderate 3-5, she’s eager to learn and continue her training. Laika knows 'sit' already, and Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for adopted dogs, making it easy to continue her education. She did well with her crate training in foster care, but being a puppy, she will need assistance with potty training in her new yard. Currently, she's started her puppy shots and is microchipped and spayed. She does have a significant overbite, so consulting with a vet about her dental health as she grows is recommended. If you're ready to embrace the joy of having a puppy and the training commitment that comes with it, let's bring Laika into your home! Her adoption fee is $299.00, and you can find her in Kennesaw, GA. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
