Meet Happy, a charming fellow who joined us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter after being found as a stray. At around 10 years old, he’s had a tough time with his previous owner passing away, but don’t let his age fool you; he’s just as vibrant and cheerful as his name suggests. Happy enjoys walks and has a playful spirit, yet he balances that energy with a love for cozy couch time. No need to coax him into calmness; he’s a natural at relaxing. Car rides? Count him in for a Starbucks run! He’s easygoing about baths, relishing the warm water. Almost house trained, he just needs a bit of consistency and patience. Happy adores people, greeting them with a wagging tail and a friendly smile. He gets along well with other dogs and could fit nicely into a home with additional pets, given proper introductions. He’d also thrive as an only dog, adapting well to any loving environment. Happy was heartworm positive when he arrived, but he's receiving treatment at our expense until he tests negative.
