About Jorts
Jorts is a handsome grey tabby with a kind heart and a quiet charm that gradually wins you over. While his past might be a mystery, he’s eager to start fresh with a loving family. Initially, Jorts can be shy, often preferring to observe from a safe height—his favorite perch is a sturdy high cat tree. Patience is key; once he feels secure, his affectionate nature shines. He loves gentle pets and enjoys playtime, especially with little mice he can chase around. Jorts has a nice mix of playful and calm energy. This gentle soul can coexist with other cats or dogs, but he truly thrives as the only pet. Given his reserved nature, he'd do best with older, cat-savvy children. Fully litter trained, Jorts prefers an XL-sized litter box; a 30-gallon tote with a cutout works well for him. He’s easygoing and enjoys being held, though he also values his personal space and will happily sit nearby to keep you company. If you seek a sweet companion with a gentle heart, Jorts might just be your perfect match. He’s fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption Fee: $275 plus applicable tax. This could be the start of something paw-some.
