Meet Cheese! This brave boy is making impressive strides as he discovers just how wonderful life can be. After coming to West Valley Animal Rescue in a neglected state, he's undergone a transformation and is now thriving in his foster home. Though he had to be shaved due to severe matting, his beautiful Labradoodle coat will grow back over time. Cheese excels with other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s friendly with children, even in a bustling home with seven kids, including toddlers and teens. While he may be shy around new people, especially adult men, his past experiences have taught him to avoid confrontation. Cheese just needs gentle, patient individuals who will give him the time to feel safe. Once he trusts you, his sweet, playful nature truly shines through. He loves water, gets along well with cats, and is becoming more confident each day. This wonderful boy is looking for a family who will continue showing him how amazing life can be.
