About Cheese

Meet Cheese, a brave dog who’s making incredible strides at West Valley Animal Rescue. After being rescued in a neglected state, he's blossoming in his foster home. Though his coat had to be shaved due to matting, don't let that fool you; he's a beautiful Goldendoodle at heart, and his fur will grow back. Cheese excels in many ways; he gets along wonderfully with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and happily rides in the car. He even uses the dog door and goes into his crate on command. Living with seven children, including toddlers and teenagers, he embraces their energy and affection. While he may be shy, especially around men due to his past, his gentle demeanor is heartwarming. When given a little patience and kindness, he reveals his sweet and playful personality. Cheese is not aggressive but tends to shy away from loud or assertive voices, preferring a calm environment. This loving dog deserves a family that will show him how wonderful life can be. He also gets along with cats, making him a great fit for a variety of households. Cheese’s adoption donation includes his vaccinations, deworming, neuter, microchip, collar, and a 30-day insurance policy. He’s already house trained and ready for a forever home.
