About Sage

Meet Sage, a clever and curious 6-month-old pup in search of her forever home. At around 30 pounds, this shepherd and cattle dog mix has already overcome quite a lot. Abandoned in the desert with her two brothers, Sage was rescued and brought to safety by a kind-hearted individual and Dog Coalition LA, where she has had the chance to flourish in a loving foster environment. In her foster home, Sage has shown herself to be playful and sociable with other dogs, including smaller ones. Although she can be a bit shy at first due to her rough background, her curiosity shines through. Once comfortable, her goofy personality emerges. She’s crate trained, making strides in house training, and is improving her leash manners as she explores the neighborhood. It’s clear that Sage would thrive in a home with a confident dog to help boost her self-assurance. Affectionate and fun-loving, she enjoys making friends with other dogs and is eager to meet new people, given time to adjust. If you’re looking for a smart, playful companion eager to learn, Sage might be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
