At around 3 years old and 55lbs, Delilah is nothing but a deli-light! This happy-go-lucky girl has the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back companionship. Whether it's time for a game of fetch, a backyard zoomie session, or simply lounging nearby while you work, Delilah is always happy to be part of the action. She's a smart cookie with an excellent memory and already knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, down, shake, place, and heel. Delilah is eager to learn and loves having a job to do, making her a fun and rewarding companion for someone who enjoys training and enrichment activities. In the home, Delilah is a dream. She settles quietly in her crate when left alone and sleeps soundly through the night. She's confident and easygoing, taking everyday sights and sounds in stridefrom people and blow dryers to barking dogs. Her curious nature shines through in everything she does, especially when she's watching birds soar overheadsomething her foster says they've never seen another dog do! Delilah enjoys the company of other dogs and lives well with a small dog in her foster home. She shares toys nicely and does not resource guard. She would likely enjoy having a canine sibling, though she'd also thrive as the center of attention in an active home. (Cats, however, are not on her list of friends.) While Delilah would certainly love a yard to run and play in, what she really wants is a family committed to giving her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and quality time together. In return, you'll get a loyal, intelligent, and endlessly entertaining best friend.
