About Griffen

Griffen is a loving, friendly dog ready for adoption through Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue. Rescued as a stray, he was initially underweight and infested with ticks, but he quickly showed his gentle nature to the mailman who found him. In foster care, Griffen has made remarkable strides: he's gained 17 lbs and recently tested heartworm negative. Now a healthy 94 lbs, this gentle giant is known for his chill demeanor and playful spirit. Griffen is wonderful with dogs of all sizes, adapting his playstyle to fit his companions, whether gentle puppies or energetic wrestlers. He has also been tested with cats and did well, suggesting he could thrive in a multi-pet household with proper introductions. Although Griffen walks well on a leash, he is still working on his potty training. His love for treats and toys will help him pick it up quickly with positive reinforcement. Griffen is looking for a loving indoor home where he can settle and enjoy life. He's eager to share his affectionate nature with a family that values companionship and playfulness.
