Meet Addie, a sweet young lady on a journey to find her forever home. She started as a stray, ending up in a shelter where she felt invisible and frightened. Luckily, a caring volunteer rescued her just in time, and she found a temporary haven with Burlington County Animal Alliance. At around 18 months old, Addie weighs about 55 lbs and has a shiny black coat that glistens when she moves. She's still a bit shy and needs a calm environment where someone can patiently help her gain confidence. Addie adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a more experienced canine buddy to help her learn the ropes. She’s shown great progress in her crate training, having only a few accidents and she loves treats, which definitely helps her training! Although she's nervous on a leash, with encouragement and more practice, Addie has the potential to become a fantastic walking companion.
