About Dobby

Dobby may be "Lil Bit," but this tiny girl has already come a long way! At just 16 weeks old, Dobby is thought to be a Lab and Black Mouth Cur mix — though her exact mix might be a mystery. What we do know is that she's utterly adorable. When she arrived, she weighed only 4.8 lbs and was severely underweight. But this little fighter has figured out that food is good. Now, she’s thriving, growing stronger and steadily gaining weight. Dobby is a sweet and happy little spirit who loves being a puppy. She gets along great with dogs and puppies of all sizes, including her best buddy, a Great Pyrenees. Not intimidated by his size, she enjoys playtime and often curls up next to him when it’s time to rest. She's also friendly with cats and is amazing with kids — she truly is the complete package! Recently, Dobby spent some time in boarding, where she impressed everyone with her adaptability and social skills. Meeting new people and dogs is her jam, proving just how easygoing this little lady can be given her challenging start in life. Dobby is not yet spayed; her vet suggests she should grow a bit more before that's done, but the rescue will cover her spay surgery when the time is right. Now that she’s overcome so much, Dobby is ready for what matters most — a family of her very own.
