Meet Katie Bug. She's been waiting over a year for the right person to notice her—a situation that's hard to fathom. This sweet girl was found abandoned in a home with two other dogs. Starving and in need of medical help, Katie remained gentle and loving despite her tough beginnings. Now at around 6 to 7 years old, she’s a bit wiser and ready for a loving home. Katie enjoys being around people and gets along well with other dogs. She's shown curiosity around cats, so a proper introduction would be best for a harmonious household. We call her a turn-key dog; she simply needs someone to welcome her home. Previously with another rescue, she’s been given another chance by NYSRR after a long wait for a forever home.
