About Opal

Meet Opal! This sweet, approximately 7-month-old black Labbie girl is currently being fostered in Louisiana and is ready to find her forever family. Opal is a true Velcro dog; she loves to be by your side, whether you're gardening, cleaning, or even making a quick trip to the bathroom. She adores people and gets along beautifully with other animals. Opal wants to form a special bond with someone who can give her the love and attention she craves. After being with a family that fell on hard times, Opal deserves a second chance in a home that has time for her. Fully vetted, parasite-free, and heartworm tested last month, she's more than ready for a new adventure. Keep in mind that most of our dogs are not local. We partner with a rescue group in Louisiana and transport our dogs to the Northeast once a suitable foster or adopter is found. If you're comfortable not meeting Opal in person before adoption, we'd love to hear from you. Please complete the online application, and let's find out if Opal is your new best friend!
