Meet Midnight, a charming 9-year-old black Labrador Retriever mix. He’s a large male with a short coat, currently located in Cadiz, OH. Midnight is not yet house trained and has not been altered or vaccinated. Despite his age, he’s still friendly and dignified, ready to find a loving home where he can feel secure.

About Midnight

Midnight has faced significant changes in his life, first losing his owner two years ago and then, just recently, his temporary caretaker. Now at 9 years old, he finds himself at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH, searching for a new home. Despite his tough circumstances, Midnight is a gentle, easy-going dog who enjoys the little things, like lounging in the sun and exploring during walks. He arrived here with a history of living harmoniously with a small dog and multiple cats, so he’s likely to get along with other furry friends. While Midnight has interacted well with high school students, we suggest a meet-and-greet with any little ones in your home to ensure everyone's comfort. He will need a little time to adjust to a new environment, but with some love and patience, he can thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Midnight might be the perfect fit.
