About Koda

Koda first landed with Pet Search as a 12-week-old puppy from St Thomas and has spent quite a journey in and out of homes since then. He’s now 2.5 years old, born under a determined Scorpio sun on November 1, 2019. Over the years, he’s shown immense affection, especially toward women, and quickly bonds with those who gain his trust. Koda comes with some apprehension around men but improves with patient, gentle handling—he’ll need a calm man who respects his pace. He thrives with passive, smaller female dogs and is best suited to homes with older children. Koda is housebroken but can still have the occasional crate mishap. Adopters with patience and a quieter lifestyle—ideally single women, couples, or families with older kids—will provide the best setting for him. He’s already neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. Koda is in Washington, PA, working daily to get a little better, and he’s looking for that right fit to give him a steady, loving life.
