About Sora

Meet Sora, a 5-6 month-old terrier mix weighing around 10 pounds. She has spent her life in an outdoor kennel, so she’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house and crate training. Because of her past, Sora needs a patient adopter who can guide her through these skills while she adjusts to a home environment. Sora is a bit shy around other dogs initially, but she gets along well with her foster family’s two larger dogs, showing them her submissive side. She adores being a lap dog and often seeks out her foster mom's lap for cuddles. That cozy spot is her favorite, and she could happily spend her entire day there. At this time, Sora struggles with being left alone, but her foster mom is actively training her to feel more comfortable in a crate. Despite the challenges, Sora is eager to learn and is doing well during walks with her foster siblings. If you think you can provide Sora a loving home where she can thrive, apply today! She comes with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and a spay/neuter procedure at a partner vet included in the adoption fee of $450.
