Meet Penny! This sweet little pup is settling into her new life thanks to Worthy Dog Rescue after her previous owner could no longer keep her. Penny has been living with a wonderful foster family where she’s learning about home life alongside their pack. Initially timid, she's building confidence and revealing her playful, affectionate side. Once she gets to know you, Penny loves to snuggle and be close to her humans. Penny enjoys playtime with the other dogs in her foster home, so she’d be happy in a house with canine companions. However, she’s just as content with people and has shown calm behavior around the cat in the house. Almost house trained, she prefers someone to accompany her outside as she learns the ropes. With a medium scruffy coat and a weight of about 11 lbs, Penny still has that delightful puppy energy, balanced with a love for naps. She’s crate trained and sleeps well, although she can get anxious when left alone. Initially shy with newcomers, she’s slowly warming up and gaining confidence. Penny is an affectionate, playful young lady who needs a patient family to help her adjust and feel secure. She’s a bundle of joy and would make a fantastic addition to your family.
