About Honey
Meet Honey, a charming 9-month-old Dachshund mix with a bubbly spirit. This sweet girl was surrendered to our rescue partners in Oklahoma due to her owner's mental health challenges. Since then, she has been in foster care, where she has shown herself to be friendly with other dogs, potty trained, and comfortable in her crate overnight. Honey displays a typical teenage dog personality, filled with a love for play. Although she can be a bit shy around new people, she warms up quickly, especially when she sees her canine companions getting attention. She is working through some fears and may need gentle guidance to help her feel secure. Having a confident resident dog would be beneficial for her journey of comfort. While Honey has some hesitations about peeing on a leash, she has done well in a yard environment. This young dog has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is ready for a loving home that can offer her patience and support. If you think you can provide the nurturing environment she needs, apply to meet Honey. Click apply to start the adoption process.
