About Arnie
Arnie is a sweet and sensitive Chiweenie currently in a foster home in San Antonio, but he’s ready to find his forever home. At a perfect size of 12 pounds and around 2 years old, Arnie came to us with his brother, who has since found a loving family. He’s been thriving in his foster environment alongside other dogs and cats, but he can be shy with men initially. It's essential for Arnie to have a patient female partner in his household and a man who understands that he needs time to feel comfortable. With his enthusiasm for daily walks and playing with his toys, Arnie enjoys life with his furry friends. He isn’t dog reactive and loves romping in his fenced yard. His ideal forever home would have people around most of the time, as he dislikes being crated for long periods but can handle brief crate time for errands. Arnie responds well to training, knows commands like sit and come, and is fully house trained. He truly thrives as a companion dog, wanting cuddles and affection from his humans during those cozy nights. If you can provide a nurturing environment for this gentle boy, Arnie might just be the perfect addition to your family. Arnie's adoption fee is sponsored, covering his transport, vaccinations, neutering, and microchip. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
