About Rhea
Meet Rhea, a 4.5-year-old German Shepherd and Great Dane mix who weighs about 70 lbs. Currently fostered in Austin, Texas, Rhea is ready for a new home and can be transported out of state for an approved adopter. She’s a big-hearted girl, known for her affectionate and friendly nature. Rhea enjoys the company of other dogs and currently shares her home with both small and medium-sized canines. Although she plays well with smaller dogs, she can be a bit rough, so a companion of at least 40 lbs would suit her best. Moderate in energy, she’s happy to go for walks, play with her toys, and relax at home. Rhea is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys spending time close to her humans, often following you from room to room. Rhea has been great with children, especially those who are respectful and dog-savvy. While she has chased cats she sees on walks, it might be best for her to settle into a cat-free home. Rhea brings joy wherever she goes and would thrive in a family that wants her involved in everyday activities. She knows several commands like “come,” “sit,” and “stay,” and is eager to learn more with the right training. Rhea is altered, up to date on vaccinations, and is ready for her forever home. If you think Rhea might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application. Your new best friend is just one click away.
