About Lexi
Lexi, formerly known as Gabby from the G Litter, is a lively 5-month-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix. Weighing in at 43 pounds, she's back with us due to her owner's upcoming surgery that will limit their ability to care for her. Lexi is eager for a new home where she can thrive. This girl is house-trained and crate-trained, making her a great companion for families with kids aged 10 and up. She gets along well with other dogs but does not get along with cats. While she loves people, Lexi could use some leash training and isn't fond of car rides unless she gets the coveted window seat. Lexi embodies the playful, affectionate, and curious nature of her breed. She's intelligent, learning commands like sit, down, and wait, and she enjoys tricks for treats and interactive playtime. However, Lexi won't be happy in an apartment setting. She needs a secure, fenced yard and plenty of exercise to keep her happy and engaged. Daily physical activity and mental stimulation are essential for her well-being. Because of her working breed background, experience with similar dogs is preferred, and training is crucial. If you're ready for a committed companion like Lexi, who thrives with structure and purpose, we’d love to hear from you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
