About Ducky

Ducky is a delightful little girl ready to embark on her adventurous journey. Currently fostered near Waterloo, Iowa, she’s one of eleven adorable Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador mix puppies born to Birdie, a stray mom found wandering in Union, Iowa. Thanks to community efforts, Birdie and her pups are now safe and thriving in foster care. This 6-week-old pup is all about playful antics, exploring her environment, and enjoying affection from her human friends. Ducky loves engaging with her siblings and is soaking up all the joy that comes with being a puppy. Though she’s still developing her personality, her combination of sweetness and playful spirit is already shining through. Puppies like Ducky need an adopter who is ready to invest time and training. While she’s starting to learn about potty training, keep in mind she’s not fully house trained yet. Early socialization, with children and other pets, will help Ducky grow into a well-rounded dog. She comes with age-appropriate vaccinations, is microchipped, and will be adopted under a spay contract for a fee of $500, with $100 reimbursed upon proof of spay.
