About Scarlet
Meet Scarlet, a six-year-old, 44-pound Husky with the heart of a woodland fairy and a touch of indecision about indoor living. She’s vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and she’s ready to find her next chapter—one that includes a real backyard to roam. Scarlet has spent her life outdoors and needs a home with a fenced yard where she can learn to trust indoor spaces at her own pace. Those hardwood floors? They’re suspicious to her. But with time, she shows signs of improvement and is ready to explore a cozy indoor life filled with soft beds and family. Her personality is a gem: sweet, gentle, and affectionate, she’s great with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Traveling in the car is her specialty, and at the vet, she’s surprisingly cooperative. Meeting new folks is her jam, but she prefers to do it politely and calmly. While she doesn’t pay much attention to cats, if one decides to swat at her, she'll offer a classy “excuse me?” growl before returning to her own business. If you’re on the lookout for a loving Husky who is ready to transition from outdoor life to becoming an indoor princess (at her own pace), Scarlet is your girl. Currently located in Lebanon, TN, she can be transported to other states. A transport fee may apply if a volunteer is not available. Are you ready for a sweet and sassy companion?
