Lucky Lucius left the Rocky Mount shelter on the very day he was scheduled to be euthanized—and what a happy day that turned out to be! This cheerful boy hasn’t stopped wagging his tail since. Lucius is delighted to meet anyone and everyone, always greeting new friends with enthusiasm. He reportedly tested well with other dogs at the shelter and is non-reactive when meeting new canine companions, large or small. At just three years old, Lucius is a young adult ready to begin a wonderful new chapter in life. His caretaker reports that he appears to be housebroken and politely waits to go outside to do his business. Lucius enjoys spending time in the yard and will happily entertain himself when left alone. He’s also an excellent travel companion—he hops in and out of the car with ease and loves going for rides.
