Roo's short brindle coat and lively personality make her a delightful companion. Currently located in Plainfield, IL, she is ready to find a loving family that can help her continue her training and enjoy her playful spirit.

About Roo

Meet Roo, a spirited girl bursting with energy and charm. She was born in early July and is currently thriving in a foster home alongside her brother, Pooh Bear. Roo shares her space with three dogs of various sizes (from 10 to 80 lbs), children aged 10 and 14, and even a cat. This lively environment is perfect for her socialization, making her well-adjusted with both people and other pets. Roo is expected to grow into a stunning medium-sized lady, weighing around 40 to 50 pounds. Always eager to play, she’ll jump at the chance for a good time with a toy, her brother, or anyone willing to join in. Her playful personality is complemented by an eagerness to learn; she’s already mastering commands like sit, touch, and “eyes on me.” Being a puppy, Roo is still learning what to chew on, so she'll need a family that can guide her as she develops good manners. After a round of zoomies, she’s content to curl up for some cuddles. Currently, she sleeps in a playpen at night and is making good strides in her potty training. Roo is perfect for a family that can keep her engaged, continue her education, and shower her with love and toys. Her playful, affectionate spirit is bound to bring joy to any household. The adoption fee of $550 includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, heartworm treatment, and other essential medical care to ensure her health as she joins your family. Please note that as a foster home-based rescue, we require home visits during the adoption process and can only adopt to families within the Chicago area. Thank you for understanding!
