He is very affectionate and friendly, making him a wonderful companion.

Having spent his early weeks living under a porch with minimal human interaction, he's a bit timid at first, but the wonderful part is he warms up quickly when he feels safe and loved. Watching Mickey bloom into his true self as he discovers what it means to have a family and home is a truly heartwarming experience. Mickey is around 8 lbs now and expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. He’s fun-loving, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, and even cats—making him a fantastic addition to almost any family. He’s currently working on potty training and will thrive with patient, consistent guidance. Mickey is eager to learn and please, so you’ll see his personality blossom as he settles in. Mickey is on the lookout for a caring and understanding family who appreciates that building trust takes time. If you're ready to provide this sweet boy the nurturing environment he deserves, Mickey can’t wait to meet you! The adoption fee of $550 covers his spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, heartworm treatment, and any necessary medical care. Please note that home visits are part of our adoption process. We can’t adopt to families living outside the Chicago area and its suburbs. Thank you for understanding!
