About Tommy

Meet Tommy, a lively 1.5-year-old Terrier/Yorkie mix weighing in at 12 lbs. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find his forever home. Tommy is a great candidate for our foster-to-adopt program, perfect for anyone wanting to test the waters before fully committing. Tommy has a medium energy level and thrives on daily exercise. A brisk 60-minute walk combined with playful activities will keep him content and prevent any unwanted behaviors. Though we’re still getting to know him, he seems social with other dogs, and he's likely to enjoy their company. As for cats, he’s open to the idea but we don’t have a full picture yet. He’s house trained, but like many dogs, he may have a few transitional accidents when adjusting to a new routine. While we haven't assessed his compatibility with children, we suggest respectful kids aged 8 and up, with adult supervision. Tommy is eager to meet you and make new friends, whether that’s other pets or humans. Since he’s just arrived in our care, we’ll learn more about him each day. Tommy has a bright future ahead and may be your perfect companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
