About Sleeper

Sleeper found his way to safety from the tough streets of Newark, where he had to scrounge for food amid many dangers. This unexpected sweetheart turned out to be the surprise star of our rescue operation. Though initially a bit thin, he was soon neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and leukemia, which was a relief. He did experience some mouth pain, leading to the discovery of stomatitis—an advanced case of gingivitis—but that’s all behind him now. After having all his teeth removed, he’s thriving and manages well with both wet and dry food. Sleeper has gained some weight in foster care and is ready for a new home where he can get more exercise, though he never misses a chance for hugs and kisses before meals. Get ready for some snuggles with this affectionate guy! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
