About Daisy
Meet Daisy: a gentle and affectionate girl on the lookout for her forever home. At 5 years old and 60 lbs, this hound and shepherd mix first arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender due to her family moving. While she was initially a bit timid, it quickly became clear that Daisy loves being around people. Her interactions with other dogs are sweet; she plays gently and prefers human companionship over rowdy dog play. She's made fast friends with volunteers, happily accepting treats from them. Now in foster care, Daisy is adjusting beautifully and has settled into home life. Crate-trained and house-trained, she’s ready for the next phase of her journey. Although she takes a bit of time to warm up, she shows her loving nature once comfortable, enjoying pets and affection. She’s currently working on her leash skills and gaining confidence in her new routine. On sunny days, Daisy loves to bask in the yard, taking it easy. Daisy might thrive as a solo dog, allowing for plenty of personal bonding time, but she could also coexist harmoniously with a respectful canine companion. A patient adopter willing to help her gain confidence is ideal for this lovely girl. Let Daisy bring a touch of calm and sweetness to your home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
