About Apollo

Apollo is a gentle soul who has been through quite a bit. Initially afraid of people, he’s slowly starting to reveal his personality as he becomes more comfortable in his surroundings. He has learned to enjoy dog toys and is house trained. When he first arrived, even normal sounds like a school bus would send him into a panic, but he’s making progress. He prefers sleeping in the same room with his two canine companions instead of using a crate, and he eats well while learning about treats. Apollo is good on leash and enjoys his walks, though he’s still a bit skittish when people approach him. His manners are excellent; he takes treats gently and doesn’t beg. This sweet boy would thrive in a home with a yard where he can feel secure, ideally alongside another dog or two to help build his confidence. He is not yet neutered, but that will be scheduled once he’s settled in. With kindness and patience, Apollo will turn into a loving companion.
