Dandelion is a playful and affectionate guy who can’t get enough of belly rubs. He’s had quite a journey—after a freak accident left him with only three legs, he underwent surgery that couldn’t fully repair a shattered shoulder blade. Months later, he stopped eating, and vet visits revealed a rare condition known as primary hypoparathyroidism, leading to brittle bones. This condition means he’ll need regular checks and medication for life, which makes him a special needs cat. Despite these challenges, Dandelion’s spirit remains bright. He thrives with the right care and is eager to find his forever home. If you’re interested in learning more about Dandelion and his needs, please submit an adoption application. Our medical coordinator and Dandelion's foster can provide further insights into his condition and care requirements.
