About Benny

Benny is a lovable 11-year-old cat who found himself in a new situation after his previous owner passed away. He spent an unknown time alone, which added stress to his life. Now, he's eager to find a family that will appreciate him for the wonderful companion he is. When Benny arrived at his foster home, he was cautious but quickly began to show affection. He enjoys his time napping under furniture but comes out to greet his fosters for petting and head scratches. Mostly active in the evening, he loves to lounge next to them on the couch and will engage with his toys when the mood strikes. Due to arthritis, Benny isn't the most active cat and receives Gabapentin for pain relief. His previous owner had him declawed, but he still loves to scratch on cardboard. Currently on a diet to manage his weight, heโ€™s food motivated and shows extra affection around meal times. While he can be vocal, especially when it's time to eat, Benny may hiss if he feels his space is challenged. He would thrive best in a quieter household without young children and ideally no other pets. If you're patient and willing to let him adjust, Benny will reward you with his delightful personality and charming antics. Ready to give this sweet kitty a chance?
