About Hope
Meet Hope! This delightful 1-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix currently weighs 43 pounds and is looking for her forever home. Hope is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, ready for a second chance at life after being surrendered by her previous owner. Currently residing in a loving foster home in Spring, TX, Hope is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of her canine foster sibling. While she can be a bit shy at first, once she feels comfortable, she showcases a charming mix of energy and calmness. You'll find her snuggling with you one moment and bursting into playful zoomies the next! She has been around children from infancy to age 5, displaying a gentle and sweet temperament. However, she may be best suited for families with older children aged 8 and up who can be calm and respectful around dogs. Hope is mostly house trained, can hold it for about six hours, and is crate trained, although she'd rather have the freedom to roam. A dog friend in her forever home would be ideal, as she truly enjoys having a companion. Hope walks well on a leash, is calm, and generally stays close. Her sweet nature and cute quirks—like her piggy sounds and the distinctive look of her one ear that flips up—are sure to bring smiles. She needs someone patient to help her warm up to new people, especially in noisy situations. If you’re interested in Hope, you can start the process by filling out an adoption application to arrange a virtual meet & greet. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
