Meet Piglet, an energetic and affectionate young female pit bull mix currently fostered in Spring, TX. Rescued as a stray, she's ready for a fresh start in her forever home. At just one year old, Piglet is already fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Weighing in at 55 pounds, she is both playful and cuddly, balancing her love for running and playing with her need for cozy naps. Piglet thrives on interactions with other dogs, often getting overly excited during introductions. However, she quickly settles down once she’s met them. While she hasn't yet met any cats, her curious nature leads her to chase frogs in the yard. Although she hasn't lived with children, Piglet has shown herself to be sweet and gentle with neighbor kids. We recommend a home with children aged 8 and up due to her playful energy. She’s house trained and will sit by the back door when she needs to go out, and she does well in her crate, often using it as a cozy spot to nap while her foster family is away. Talented and eager to please, Piglet enjoys walks but tends to pull, something her foster family is working on. She learns quickly, especially with treats involved, and loves belly rubs and puzzle toys.
