About Bailey

Meet Bailey! This spirited five-year-old Labradoodle currently in Amherst, MA, is a joyful burst of adventure with her beautiful brown coat. At about 40 pounds, Bailey is a fun-loving girl who thrives on activity and companionship. Whether she's chasing a ball, enjoying a walk, or heading off for a trail run, Bailey is happiest when she’s with her favorite people. She currently enjoys about three miles of brisk walking each day, coupled with plenty of ball play, and has the ability to trail run off-leash with reliable recall. Bailey is well-trained and knows commands like sit, release, and chase. She is house-trained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and groomed every four to five weeks. After her active adventures, Bailey settles down nicely and sleeps well, handling short periods alone without issue. This social girl is fantastic with children of all ages and loves playing with other dogs. She lives comfortably with a cat and enjoys their company. While Bailey may growl at German Shepherds, she has never bitten or made contact with anyone. Bailey requires daily medication and a monthly injection to manage her Addison’s disease. After having an episode of severe lethargy two years ago, she has had no further issues. A second opinion on her diagnosis may be wise. Currently, she is gradually being weaned off anxiety medication. With her abundant energy, Bailey needs a loving home that provides ample room for exercise, ideally outside of urban environments and with a fenced yard. An active family that loves running, hiking, and outdoor adventures would find a dedicated companion in her. Her new family should feel comfortable continuing her medication routine.
