About Winston

Meet Winston! This adorable, estimated 1-year-old neutered male American Eskimo is on the lookout for a loving home. Due to his past, Winston is a bit nervous around new people and can be protective of his food and toys. He’s been through a few unstable living situations, which contributes to his anxiety, especially in a kennel where the noise from other dogs and lack of companionship affects him. However, once out of the kennel, Winston relaxes and shows a desire to bond closely with his person; he could easily become your little shadow. Ideally, he needs someone who works from home or is around often, as he thrives on companionship. This energetic boy needs leash training since he gets very excited during walks and tends to pull. Winston would do best in a home without children and preferably without other pets, as we haven't observed his behavior around cats or other dogs yet. If you think you can provide the right environment for Winston, he's ready to become part of your family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
