Nova is a medium-sized, short-coated female Pit Bull Terrier. She is house trained and spayed. Currently located in Berea, KY, she is ready to find a loving home.

About Nova

Nova came to the shelter as an owner surrender, feeling terrified and unsure of her new surroundings. Through patience and care, she has opened up, revealing her sweet nature. She prefers a home where she can be the only dog, likely due to an unfortunate incident in her past where she was attacked by another dog. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for her, leading her to seek comfort in quieter spaces away from the noise. Despite her shyness at first, Nova has a playful side, especially when it comes to toys. She loves to chew on them and enjoys playing without destroying them. Once she feels secure and trusts you, her true personality shines through as a happy, wiggly pittie. If you’re looking for a loving companion who may need a bit of time to adjust, Nova could be the perfect fit for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
