Initially rescued as a kitten, he lived in the same home for over twelve years before returning to Kitty Devore Rescue. The transition has shown just how resilient Sammy is. Despite being a senior, his health is impressive, with normal bloodwork and minimal arthritis in one hip. This affectionate gentleman knows what he wants. Sammy enjoys tube treats, cheek scratches, and cozy naps while observing the outside world from his window perch. He has great litter box habits, keeps himself clean, and is respectful of the household furniture. Sammy has experience living with other cats and a dog but really prefers human companionship. He would thrive as the sole pet in a quiet home, or with another calm cat who shares his love for peace and tranquility.
