About Mona
Mona faced a harrowing experience, abandoned on a balcony in Hollywood during the sweltering heat of Labor Day weekend. Left to suffer alone, she was thankfully rescued by a maintenance crew days later. Now safe, she’s learning to adjust in a temporary foster home, where she awaits her forever family. At about 4 years old, Mona is gentle, brave, and undeniably beautiful. When her rescuers came for her, she approached them without hesitation, eager to express her feelings. She’s a bit nervous and still processing the loss of her previous home, so she’ll thrive in a quiet, loving environment where she can rebuild her trust. While she might be uneasy around other cats, she may adapt to a small, older dog with time. This sweet girl has been fully vetted, including spaying and vaccinations, and is ready for a stable home. Young children under 12 may not be the best fit for her calm nature. If you have the time and patience to help her rediscover her joyful side, she will surely fill your life with love and affection.
