About Jonathan
If you're hoping to bring home a laid-back, gentle cat, Jonathan fits the bill. For the first part of his life, he was outdoors scraping by near the El Segundo sanctuary until coming inside in December 2024. Since then, he's slowly shed his tough exterior and become a quiet, steady presence. Jonathan is about two years old, with smoky black long hair and thoughtful eyes. He likes to perch on his cat tree, watching the world and relaxing near his feline friends. Jonathan is shy at first and prefers to hang back until he feels safe. He's not one to demand attention, but with patience and something tasty like a Churu, he'll emerge as a gentle companion who appreciates a calm home. He isn’t a noisy or pushy cat, but he is loyal in his own low-key way. Jonathan would do best with adopters who get that shy cats repay patience tenfold and are content with a cat who values quiet over chaos. He currently lives in Manhattan Beach, CA, and is ready to start the next chapter. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
