Toby
AvailableToby is a young, male Pomeranian mix with long golden hair. Though still honing his potty training skills, he is already neutered and his vaccinations are up-to-date. Toby is affectionate and friendly, happily snuggling under the covers while keeping an eye on the world outside from his home in Jefferson, LA. Ultimately, he's looking for a loving companion to share his playful spirit and joyful antics with.
About Toby
Meet Toby! This charming Pomeranian mix is about 2 years old and has quite a backstory. Rescued after being dumped at Lafreniere Park, Toby's journey brought him to Jefferson SPCA. Luckily, a caring vet tech took him home for a weekend to help us learn about his personality outside the kennel. Toby is a delightful little guy who adores people. He loves to zoom around the yard, play with toys, and curl up on the couch. Watching the neighborhood from the window is one of his favorite pastimes, along with entertaining himself by tossing his toys around. Quiet by nature, he loves to snuggle under the covers and prefers the company of his human above all else. While he is generally good with larger dogs, he shows a bit of jealousy when it comes to food, toys, or attention. Therefore, he might be happiest as the only dog in the home or with a calm canine buddy. Though he is still learning about potty training and basic manners, he's recently neutered, which should help with his enthusiasm and marking habits. Toby simply asks for some toys, a cozy space for zoomies, and, most importantly, a loving human to share his life with. He has already faced challenges, and now it’s time for his happy ending. Come meet Toby and see if you're the perfect match! Adoption fee includes vaccines, neutering, microchip, and heartworm test. Ready to give Toby the home he deserves?
