About Zeus

Zeus is a sweet dog who has overcome significant challenges. After being returned to us in September 2026, he’s looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. Zeus is cautious around other dogs and takes a bit of time to warm up to strangers, but once you earn his trust, you’ll be rewarded with unwavering loyalty. He’s intelligent and quickly learns his routine, which makes him a wonderful companion. Potty trained with just the occasional accident, Zeus could thrive best as the only pet in a home. He would be happiest in a household with children over the age of 12, considering his past experiences. Despite everything he’s endured, Zeus remains affectionate and loves curling up for cuddles. With his shiny black and white coat, Zeus is a beautiful pit bull mix, though he has some white speckling from past scarring. We believe he’s roughly 6 to 8 years old. This loving dog is ready to bring joy to a new family. Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter comes fixed, wormed, vaccinated, and tested for heartworm if old enough. A starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food is also included to help you settle in together. Start your journey with Zeus by applying to adopt him today!
