About Cody
Cody initially takes a moment to size up new people, but soon his playful spirit shines through. This joyful Great Dane takes his squeaky toys very seriously—he takes each one out, spreads them across the house, and makes sure each gets a turn for playtime. At just five months and approximately 45 pounds, he’s full of youthful energy. Water is one of his favorites; you might find him diving headfirst into his puppy pool, followed by a cheerful sprint around the yard. Despite his rambunctiousness, he shows gentleness towards his older foster sister and tries to engage playfully with his foster kitty brother. He could thrive in a home with a confident resident dog or as the cherished only pet if that’s what his new family prefers. Cody is still figuring out potty training and needing some extra time to get comfortable with being alone. He would do best in a home where someone is often around. However, with a bit of planning and a midday break, he could adapt to a working household. If you’re interested in adding a goofy, lovable puppy to your family, Cody is excited to bring joy to your life.
