Parker is a lively young boy eager to find a partner who will stand by him. At just one year old, this Great Dane mix has a charming Lab personality packed into a large frame. He's part goofball, making every day an adventure, and he thrives on humor and companionship. Previously, Parker lived well with a young child and enjoyed having a fenced-in yard, though his exposure to other dogs was limited. After a family move to an apartment, his size and minimal socialization with other dogs weren't a good fit for the new environment. Currently at the Cranston, RI Animal Shelter, he's being carefully introduced to other dogs. It's clear that with the right guidance, Parker can flourish. For his forever home, he needs an experienced owner who is physically able to manage an XL dog. A single-family house with less dog traffic would suit him best. He requires a consistent routine of exercise, training, and playtime. Commitment is key; he’ll thrive with someone willing to invest time and energy into his training, especially focusing on his reactivity to other dogs.
