About Rocket

Meet Rocket, a purebred Maltese who’s 4 years old and weighs just under 7 pounds. He’s ready for his forever home and comes with a clean bill of health and bright, sparkly teeth. Rocket is still learning his house manners, so he’ll need your help to get outside frequently. He has made some progress and is doing his “big business” outdoors. For now, he can wear a belly band to help him adjust. Rocket loves exploring the fenced yard and has fun zooming around. He’s quite athletic and can jump and climb, though sometimes he forgets the no-go zones in the house. He enjoys walks on the leash and sleeps well in his crate, without accidents through the night. He wouldn’t mind snuggling in bed with you, though. Although Rocket gets along with other dogs, he thrives on attention and might prefer to be your only lap dog. Combined with his sweet personality and love for people, he truly wants to be someone’s cherished companion. Right now, he’s in a foster home in Little River, SC, waiting for you.
