About Crouton
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Crouton, a charming senior poodle mix who is about 13 years old and weighs approximately 13 pounds. After arriving at animal control as a stray in thin condition, Crouton has been thriving in his foster home. He is deaf but very alert, following his foster mom around the house and curling up beside her on the couch. While he is not house trained and wears a belly band due to his medication causing frequent urination, he does extremely well on walks and sleeps soundly through the night. Crouton has been diagnosed with IBS and requires a special diet as well as temporary medication, but his condition can be managed well with careful feeding. He still needs a couple of small growths removed, but the vet has assured that they are not cause for concern. Crouton gets along with the other dogs in his foster family but needs to be supervised at mealtimes, as he is prone to trying different foods. He is currently waiting in Gainesville, FL to find his forever family who will give him the love and attention he deserves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
