Meet Dottie! If pure innocence could be embodied in a 1.5-year-old deaf Dogo Argentino mix, it would look a lot like her. A true bundle of sunshine, Dottie is inquisitive, playful, and has a goofy spirit that brightens up any room. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious, making it hard not to smile when she’s around. Dottie has overcome a rough start. She arrived at the rescue in poor condition, almost hairless, but with a little TLC and a proper diet, she's blossomed into the gorgeous pup she is today. Her joyful demeanor remains unchanged; she thinks every day is a reason to celebrate and every person might just be her next friend. She is incredibly dog friendly and enjoys dog parks and social settings. Dottie is also believed to be cat friendly, and she’s relaxed around the resident pigs and parrots. When it comes to food, she’s a true foodie, always ready to eat anything offered. Training has been a breeze thanks to her love for treats. Although she is still learning some manners, her eagerness and motivation to connect with people shine through. Dottie is crate trained, fully house trained, and decent on the leash. Her deafness may require some communication adjustments, but this doesn’t hold her back. Dottie would thrive with another playful dog, but a loving family willing to enhance her skills and embrace her playful nature will make her happy.
