About Maple

Meet Maple! Maple is an adorable Hound mix puppy, around 6 months old, who is ready to discover the joys of life outside her kennel. She and her siblings, Honey and Biscuit, arrived at our shelter after unfortunate circumstances left them homeless. It’s heartbreaking to think these young puppies lived in a small 6x6 kennel for so long. When Maple first came to us, she was hesitant to leave her kennel, as her world was so limited. But now, she’s learning to embrace new experiences, including the concept of a leash. Progress is being made every day. One thing Maple has always known is how to love people! She is exceptionally friendly and has a sweet, happy personality. She thrives around other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion to guide her. Maple has an entire puppyhood ahead of her to explore—full of running, playing, and learning. She's looking for someone patient, who understands that she may not know everything right away, and who will celebrate all the little milestones with her. From her first confident leash walk to discovering the joy of running freely, she is eager to experience it all. It's time to help Maple expand her small world into something wonderful.
