About Tito
Tito is a young male puppy who was found as a stray and significantly underweight. After being in foster care, he has gained weight and is now a bit over 30 pounds, and we anticipate he will be under 50 pounds when fully grown. He showcases no signs of lasting damage from his time on the streets. Athletic and eager, Tito has a strong drive to leap and explore. He has a gentle approach to taking treats but will go to great lengths for a snack. Tito has been socialized well with several dogs and fits seamlessly into a home with three adult German Shepherds who are helping him learn the ropes. He gets along famously with his foster sister and enjoys playful roughhousing with another male dog. Crate trained, Tito sleeps soundly through the night and is house trained with regular potty access. He quickly picked up commands like sit and climb, demonstrates excellent leash manners, and has reliable recall. He enjoys car rides and is a strong swimmer who loves fetching floating toys. Tito is a mix of approximately 35% bully breeds and 30% retriever breeds, aligning with his love for swimming and fetching. He is sociable with adults and has met many children at public events. While he does well with kids, his playful jumping and food-stealing tendencies mean he'd thrive in a home with older children. Tito has a strong prey drive, so he should not be placed in a home with cats. Tito is searching for his lifelong companion to share energetic adventures, cuddles, and the occasional snack heist.
